'Victorious': Ariana Grande composes new song

As we have said in a number of articles as of late, 2012 is turning out to be a very busy year for Ariana Grande. She has worked on the final season of "Victorious," started up a spin-off pilot entitled "Sam & Cat" along with Jennette McCurdy of "iCarly," and also is continuing to work on her music career.

On Tuesday, the latter apparently entailed getting the wheels in motion on a new song that could come out at some point in the future. In a new post on Twitter, here is what the actress had to say:


"Had such a busy day today. Wrote a new song and had a buncha meetings! How’re you guys? What’s up everyone?"

We are getting near the very end now for "Victorious," and by the time the show officially airs its series finale, hopefully we will know a little bit more when it comes to details on the spin-off show. Executive producer Dan Schneider is sticking around, which probably ensures that it will at least be relatively similar in tone.
